You're The Chef!

You’re the Chef Train-the-Trainer Cooking Workshop: Nutrition and Health Protection staff from York Region Public Health are providing a free train-the-trainer workshop for staff from not-for-profit agencies/organizations who lead cooking programs for children (6-12 years), youth and adults in the York Region community. Participants will learn how to lead an interactive food literacy program focused on cooking and safe food handling skills. By the end of the workshop, participants will leave feeling inspired to teach their clients how to prepare simple, seasonal, and affordable recipes with sustainable ingredients. Participants will receive new recipes, and resources to support their cooking program.
