Job Skills - OSSCO Presents: Connecting to Prospective Employers

This program, presented by the Ontario Society of Senior Citizens Organization, is geared to assist mature job seekers over the age of 50 in all things networking. This virtual program will be running for two weeks over the course of 8 days. Participants will learn how to brand themselves, what skills they have to offer employers, and how to create and foster a strong professional network.

Two hours each morning Monday -Thursday for two weeks
Actively participate in applied learning in a safe atmosphere
Learn to explore what you want to do in the new phase of your career

Participants will learn key job search skills such as:
-Personal Branding
-Networking and Net giving
-Finding your skills, knowledge and experience
-what are your passions and values
-how to navigate social media to network
-finding your niche
-Launching the new you

Participants MUST have:

• Access to reliable internet, computer, laptop or tablet with camera and audio
• Use these in a quiet area free of interruptions.
